Columbo
welcome back friends and neighbors to an all-new wittygeeks blog 2022 style. starting with columbo. first i have to preface that this is a show from 1968 not that that changes any laws or application of law. to be honest about 2 weeks ago i could have told you i had heard the name before but had no idea what it was about. *beware potential spoiler alerts* i have watched about 5 episodes now and some things really stand out. and before anyone gets on my case, i know its a tv show but some realism would be appreciated. since when is it okay for a cop to let himself into someone's home and randomly begin looking around and poking in drawers etc? have we not heard of a warrant? uh, mind you, the constitution and right to search and seizure has been around oh since 1776. or how is it that columbo always manages to know who is the guilty party or is always in the 'right place, at the right time?' pretty convenient. has anyone else noticed that columbo is actually not very bri
